Daily painting

  Hey, everyone!
So recently I started a challenge to paint once a day for at least an hour. It really challenged me to make time in every day for art, and at the same time focus on something specific. (Like values) I think it      helped me a lot to get past a rut I couldn't seem to get out of, of not producing anything. Any ways, it was fun and I think I have a few decent quick studies to look back on and learn from!

    "Myrrh" 2x6' oil on wood

"Red onion" 2x6' oil on wood

"Purple onion" 2x6' oil on wood

"mandarin orange" 2x6' oil on wood

"lonely grape" 2x6' oil on wood

Oranges and purple flowers" 2x6' oil on wood

"Orange and Peter's crystals" 5x7' oil on canvas panel
This last one was my favorite, I wasn't afraid to play around and I'm really glad I messed with the color a bit, stretching outside of what am used to. It's not perfect but it's a happy little painting.

Hope you were encouraged by this post. Have a great day!
